When Sam went to Shepshed to donate cans he had litter-picked into the can bank in Glenmore Park, he found the Big Red Bin was full. Some well-meaning supporter had left several bags of cans in front of it.
Sam read the notice that asks people to call 0795 197 2914 if they find the can bank is full.
Sam did that.
While he waited for the bin to be emptied, he started crushing the cans on the floor to save space.
That’s going above and beyond.
That’s what Womble Sam does.
